the pressure field is not continous at interior bc

Hi,

I am trying to analysis the flow around the NACA0018 and I used C-type grid made by Gridgen.

But the solution is not continous at the line in domain like attached picture.

Especially, the pressure filed is discontinous and other variables(such as velocity, viscosity)are continous at that line.

I am using Fluent(Ansys 13) and I gave interior bc to this line.

Could you tell me what the problem is?

I'm sorry about my poor English.

Thanks.

This is my u & v field.

I do not understand your question ... what do you mean for "the solution is not continous at the line in domain"?

Re: FMDenaro

Sorry, I mean the line at y = 0

When you see the pressure field, the solution looks like to be cut by this line and the contour is discontinous

when you imported the C-grid, did you check if the bc.s type were already prescribed? It seems you have some fixed conditions...
Generally, the best procedure is to set bc.s directly in Fluent, not in the grid

The interior bc of fluent was given automatically and I could change it to fan, porous jump, radiator or wall, but there was no periodic boundary condition.

You cannot prescribe any bc along y=0, the solution has to be computed from the equations...
