Hi, I am a beginner working on a spray dryer problem with a DPM model on FLUENT.
diameter of my particle is about 5~30 micrometers, being some conventional viscous polymer droplets. The problem is that the initial particle velocity(just having escaped the nozzle) has an amazingly large value: some near 300,000m/s The particle velocity does reach a reasonable value in a quick time, but still I am not confident about my solution of the particle velocity field. I would like to thank in advance to whom that provides an answer to this. |
