Hello,
I am trying to create proper model of furnace with heating cover. For the first model i tried with cover made of aluminium. Initial temperature of cover and air inside is 300K. After 3600s flow of air (T=8500K) aluminium cover was heaten only to 450K. 3D model was createn in Ansys Workbench Design Modeler. Bodies are formed into one part so i have wall between air and aluminium (and its shadow). Of course Energy model is on. Temperature range 300K-8500K Temperature range 300K-700K Boundary conditions: -inlet-velocity inlet-7m/s-0Pa-8000K -otlet-outflow -wall air/cover(+shadow) - thermal condition (coupled - wall thickness 0,03m) -outer wall of cover - convection 15W/m2 - free stream temperature 300K Can anybody help me to find mistake that i made? |

Hello again
i made some tutorials (especially tutorial with computer chip) and everything went well. When i changed boundary conditions (hot air, cold chip without source) everything went as expected. Doing my model step by step like in tutorial didn't change anything. Could anyone suggest what could go wrong? With regards David Pogorzelski |
