Creating a Surface in FLUENT for flow analysis

So this is completely insane, it should not be this difficult to view flow through a designated cross section in FLUENT.

The following link is a model of what I am working on, flow comes in from the Z axis and exits the geometry in the Y axis. I have created a surface in solidworks to extract the average mass flow through the cross section. The surface is meshed but does not appear when sent to FLUENT.

I also cannot iso-clip a surface on the xz plane in a radial manner around the y axis. I can only clip this plane radially in the Z and X directions. Why is this?

Should i just change the entire orientation of my model?
