2D flow at an airfoil

Het guys!

I am modelling a 2d airfoil and want to find drag and lift on that. I was wondering if i could multiply my results with the hypothetical wing length, would that be the drag and lift for that hypothetical 3D wing??

Thanking you in advance!

No. If that was the case life would be so much easier?

Any arguments?

Yes that works, assuming all three of Newton's Laws still hold.
