hey friends!

I have an unusual problem with my multiphase project!
as you see in attached photo, the problem is a bubble column! the air and water enter form top separately ( in the pic, right! ) After air and water were mixed together, based on buoyancy force, water exits from outlet at the bottom (in the pic, left! ) and air exits form side outlets!
I'm using eulerian model for multiphase, and neglected heat transfer (energy equation is off!)
the gravity direction is to bottom side ( in the pic, left side!)
the solution works good at the beginning, but after a while, a large and unreasonable back flow occurs! Almost 3 times the amount of inlet water!

In your opinion, what is wrong?
thanx in advance!

Slm!
Water and air injected from right and afterward about 5 centimeters were mixed together! Because water enters with high speed the air mixes with the water!
