Positive Lift force for a vehicle ?
 

Hi there

I am getting positive drag and lift force for a 2D car body, I expected the lift force to be negative ? for instance at 70 m/s I get 1690 N for both lift and drag

should not the lift be negative ? what can be wrong ?

It can be possible depending on the shape of the car. Typically you can have a high velocity-low pressure zone just above the roof of the car that result in a positive lift.
