Save picture from Execute commands and journal files

Hi all,

I would like to know if some of you could help me to get the right commands to save pictures at every iteration/timestep using execute commands in GUI or commands for journal file using TUI for a 2d and 3d model.

I have been taking a look to Simulation Of Wave Generation In A Tank and for a 2d model using execute commands is:

command 1 display set-window 1

command 2 display contour water vof 0 1

command 3 display hard-copy "vof'%t.tif"

So, my question would be, how to do the same for a 3d model in which you have a plane called plane-x. Do we have to specify the plane-x in these commands?

And if you are using a journal file, what would be the method? I saw this thread but still I don't have clear.

Creating animation through TUI

Thanks :)
