Temperature restricted to 5000 -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Tanmay95 New Member Tanmay Inamdar Join Date: Jan 2015 Posts: 10 Rep Power: 11	I am modelling a 2mm thick pipe carrying water and heat flux incident on it.and temperature on some of the surface faces is above 5000 I created model in ansys modeler using two extrudes one for liquid and a shell for solid pipe.shadow walls get created and is coupled. I think since flux on surface is same and its a steady state temperature of whole outer pipe surface should be same.I can't understand why some cells show such a hogh temperature.
