Shorten Calculation time -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Falkinho New Member Join Date: Mar 2015 Posts: 6 Rep Power: 11	Hey! I am doing the Ansys tutorial "Heave and Pitch simulation of a ship hull moving through head sea waves". I run the analysis and i have an expected time of 150 hours, as each time step takes around 3 min and in total this are 3000 time steps. Do you have similar experience? What are possible options to reduce computational effort?
