Pressure profile

Dear readers,

In FLUENT I simulated an incompressible two fluid flow problem in 2-dimension channel.

I am interested in the pressure of the system. When the system has come to a rest I only expect to see a hydrostatic pressure profile. However, when I choose to see the static pressure (hydrostatic pressure) in FLUENT or (pressure) CFDpost, the min and max of the pressure profile are not what I had calculated by hand.

What kind of pressure do I plot in FLUENT?

I hope you readers of the CFD forum can help me out.

Best regards

Dear Edoan,

Thank you for your reply.

The reference density must be zero to get the hydrostatic pressure.
