Default Heat transfer: judgement of results?

salumi is on a distinguished road
Hey all,

I tried to do a heat transfer simulation for a domain where a cold jet (orifice 1mm) enters a domain of 40mm width. In the domain there are two heating zones, specified by constant temperature, of 240°C and 430°C. There are two outlets, one at the top and one at the bottom of the domain.

The scaled residuals dropped to values of around 2e-4, except for energy which is around 7e-8.

The fluid for 20 to 450° C were input using a UDF and seem to be working fine.

My problem is i don't know how to judge if the results might be correct or not.
Compared to an isothermal simulation i did before, the flow field changed a lot (due to high natural convection). It looks a lot messier than before.

What is really strange that i was expecting to see an uneffected core when looking at the temperature. However it doesn't seem that way. The hotter temperature even seems to propagate inside the inlet and the fluid is immediately heated at the orifice. The mass flow coming in is 18g/min, the diameter of the domain body is 40mm and it is 300mm high.

I attached case and data files here:

Does anyone have an idea if this could be realistic or how i could check?

It seems a bit strange....

Thanks!
