Tips for 3D nozzle analysis

Hello everyone, this is my first post. I am a newbie Fluent user, I just graduated in Master degree in mechanical engineering. Sorry for my English, but I come from Italy.

I have to perform a CFD analysis of a nozzle that will be used as burner in electric arc furnace. The beometry has no axialsymmetry, so I have to do a 3D analysis. The turbulence model that I will use is the k-w sst, that I know is quite fast to get to convergence.

The burner has boundary conditions of inlet pressure and outlet pressure and the fluid is compressible.

I ask you any tips to perform the simulation.
1) For example, I heard that for compressible flow it is good to perform a time dependent simulation to converge earlier, even if I study a stationary phenomenon. Is this true?

2) Is a good thing to put a big volume after the nozzle outlet for the boundary conditions? (because I read often about reverse backflow)

Thanks in advance :)

I forgot to say that I'm interested in velocity field and temperature field
