Introducing wire-on-tube radiator

Hi all.
I want to simulate natural convection & radiation (DO) in a closed domain with wire-on-tube heater in it. Heater consist of a large number of thin wires, so it is impossible to mesh an actual geometry, but i can calculate average surface temperature and heat transfer coefficients using semi-empirical relations. Is there any way to introduce heater in simulation as an energy source using its convective and radiative heat transfer coefficients and effective surface area? I have looked for radiator boundary condition and porous zone, but seems they do not provide any options related to radiation . Thanks for your reply. |
