Default Lagrangian particle tracking in solidified molten steel.

Dear all,

I was trying to model particle flow in a caster (solidification of molten steel). I had solved the steady state solidification problem and had got the steel to solidify along the walls.

However when I was using particle tracking using FLUENT's DPM model, I could not get the particles/inclusions to be reflected from the solidified front. I have tried using UDFs but could not get any reflection whatsoever.

Since the front is solved by fluent I can't use the DPM_BC macro as that front is not a physical wall (It becomes a wall after we solve the solidification problem).

How can I get the particle to reflect from the solidified wall if I know the liquid fraction of all the cells along the face of the solidified front is 0.3?
