Hypersonic flow
 
Hi guys,

i want to set a hypersonic flow in fluent.. how can i set it? how can i set mach number?

Ok. I will set velocity directly for example 400 m/s where the sound velocity is 346 m/s. So i will get 1.1 mach nearly..

You can use pressure far field boundary condition, if you are simulating for ideal gas. Here, you can specify Mach Number.
