Divergence detected in AMG solver
Hi every body
I am doing 2D simulation for the quenching process with the following properties: velocity:35m/s Temperature:1143 °k Turbulent Model :K-omega SST Explicit RF for Momentum: 0.6 for Pressure:0.3 I use Nitrogen and Helium as a fluid for quenching so the some material properties are set as polynomial the first step is steady state then I have to solve it in 493°k for transient but even in steady I get the following error ant it divenges so rapidely!!!! reversed flow in 6 faces on pressure-outlet 17. # Divergence detected in AMG solver: pressure coupled -> Decreasing coarsening group size! # Divergence detected in AMG solver: pressure coupled -> Increasing relaxation sweeps! # You may try the enhanced divergence recovery with (rpsetvar 'amg/protective-enhanced? #t) Error: Divergence detected in AMG solver: pressure coupled Error: Divergence detected in AMG solver: pressure coupled any solution? |
hi ,
i have the same problem are you solved it ?¸ please tel me and thank you |
Hi,
Thanks for the comment.yes it has already solved I had to patch the whole domain (temperature ) Quote:

I have the same problem, What does "patch the whole domain" mean? Best Fred |

Could you please share me the steps or screen shot that how you have patched the whole domain (Temperature) and what value of temperature you taken? |
Dear Mina,
Could you please share me the steps or screen shot that how you have patched the whole domain (Temperature) and what value of temperature you taken? |
