Hi,

I am simulating a turbine. When I start Simulation the message error appears "Error: Divergence detected in AMG solver: pressure correction
Error: Divergence detected in AMG solver: pressure correction
Error Object: #f" and Im not able to solve it.

Boundary conditions:
- inlet: velocity-inlet (direction y)
- outlet: pressure-outlet=0

Turbulence: K-Epsilon-realizable-non equlibrium. Intensity of turbulence: 0.032 and hydraulic diameter: 0.59 m

Anyone has a hint?

Mesh quality?
Initial conditions?

Have you tried running a constant density?

Hi,

The grid consists of structured hexahedral elements. Firstly I normally meshed until I understand that my method is right or not. How to understand mesh quality?

I selected inlet velocity for Initial conditions.

Yes, It was assumed that the fluid was incompressible(constant density) and the flow was steady and The working fluid was air.
