Property Input in Porous media Model

For Porous Media non equilibrium modelling should I give the effective material properties in the material panel or fluent will itself calculate the effective porosity once I give the porosity value and porous matrix material...

Give the real properties. Fluent calculates the effective porosity weighted properties.

for phase change problem what should be operating density. whether it be based on real value or effective value.
