Insert data of existing Flow Field

Goodmorning/afternoon/day,

I have a problem with solving my simulation of drug distribution in the arterial wall. The solution is not converging when I solve both the velocity profile and the User Defined Scalars (UDS) at the same time.

Therefore I want to first solve the velocity profile and use that velocity profile to solve the UDS distributions.

My plan was:
- solve the velocity profile
- load .cas and .data file
- add the UDS and source terms
- turn of the function at: solve/solution-controls/equations/flow
- get a fully converged distribution of the UDS and maintain the flow field

However after running the simulation again, the flow field has changed drastically. :(

Please can someone give me advice how to implement the flow field and not let it be changed afterwards?

Your help is much appreciated.
~me

I think you should already have it, your approach should work. Are you running this remotely on a cluster? You might have given the wrong commands. You TUI commands you should be using are:

/solve/set/equations/flow n

Also remember to disable any turbulence, temperature, etc. Check to make sure you actually turned off the equations properly.

thank you!

I made another mistake, it was not loading the data-files correctly :o.
This method is correct however :)
