Importing Temperature Data

How do you import temperature data as a boundary condition?

Take a 2D plate for example...

How do you import temperature data as an edge boundary condition and how would you import the entire temperature field?

For my case, I have the data in a .csv file as a function of position, T(x,y). I could convert it to whatever format possible... but is it possible to import this data as a starting point? Or take part of the data and import it as a boundary condition?

You can write the data to a properly formatted text file of x,y coordinates followed by temperatures. Then read this file as a profile. You will then be able to select the profile as a boundary condition or an initial condition. See section 6.6 in the Fluent User's Guide for details.
