Dear all,

I'm writing to you in order to have some information about the possibility to simulate the vacuum with radiative heat transfer with Fluent. I read the manual and i see that the only method who expected the view factor calculation is the S2S model for the radiation, but i don't understand if is it necessary that a fluid flow lick the solid surface? the manual say no, but during the setting up the model it ask me that.

Also, if i want to simulate the vacuum, is it true to don't meshing the interest interspace?

Many thanks in advance to those who respond.

Federico
