Hello guys,

Currently I'm model a blast wave using 'patch'.

Setting: Density-based, transient, inviscid, 2D model and 1 atm for the ambient.

Before this I set the 'patch' pressure : 40 atm (for testing) and it went well and I got the blast wave contours.

Then, I change the value to real blast detonation pressure (PE4) : 243770 atm, but the blast wave did not occur. When start the simulate, the absolute pressure and temperature limited in 6 cells on zone 2. I've tried to reduce the limit at solve>control but nothing happen. The error still occur.

Please help me regarding this problem.

Thank you

I don't think there's any problem other than you need to increase the limits.

Did you increase or decrease the limits?

Yes LuckyTran, I already change and play around with the limits but the problem still happen.

In this settings, the boundary condition, I only define the farfield as a pressure oultet. I'm not define any pressure inlet in the boundary condition. is this will contribute to the error? I only do patch at the wall surface and simulate
