Hello everybody, I´m Federico, first time I´m writing here
I´m dealing with a fan boundary condition, and in particular i need to create a piecewise linear profile for the pressure jump, as the one in the picture below. Now my question is how do I have to set the points? Should i select 2 points, for example - from the image - the first point 0,3 m/s - 500 Pa and the second 0,5 m/s - 100 Pa; or should I select more points (for example specifying the origin etc.) ? Thanks! PS: I´m using a VOF model with steady pseudo-transient simulation. 12270546_10208035985278392_1675607784_n.jpg |

Hi,
I would suggest plotting the same graph on matlab and do curve fitting. Any other curve fitting software should work equally well. After curve fitting you can use the polynomial you get as piecewise. -BB |
