Temperature gradient in FLUENT -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

abhi084 New Member Abhi Join Date: Dec 2014 Posts: 28 Rep Power: 11	I have to measure the temperature gradient at the surface in FLUENT. How to do that. I was unable to see anything like $\frac{\partial T}{\partial n}$ . I have to evaluate convective heat transfer coefficient at the wall using the relation -k $\frac{\partial T}{\partial n}$ = h(T $_{s}$ - T $_{d}$ ) where i know T $_{s}$ is temperature on surface(known from simulation), T $_{d}$ is my air temperature and k. Now i need the temperature gradient at surface (from fluent) to find h. Please suggest a way.
