abhi084 is on a distinguished road
I have to measure the temperature gradient at the surface in FLUENT. How to do that. I was unable to see anything like \frac{\partial T}{\partial n}. I have to evaluate convective heat transfer coefficient at the wall using the relation
-k\frac{\partial T}{\partial n} = h(T_{s} - T_{d})
where i know T_{s} is temperature on surface(known from simulation), T_{d} is my air temperature and k. Now i need the temperature gradient at surface (from fluent) to find h. Please suggest a way.
