m_chiara_palu is on a distinguished road
hi everybody, i'm trying to simulalte the flow through a bundle of fiber (they are deposed parallel to each other, but they have a different inclination alternatively layer by layer ). as the bundle is an anular cilynder, I was trying to use the conical/cilyndrical coordinate, setting the option for the porous zone. (so i'm considering the bundle of fiber as an anisotropic porous medium)
What i have actually is the value of the viscous resistance in the radial direction, in axial direction, and also in a direction of 30° and 60°(depending on the angle at which the flow pass through medium i have a different viscous resistance). so I have four different values of viscous resistance. I was wondering if there is something that I can do to solve this problem.
Using the conical/cilyndrical coordinate system in fluent, I can set three different values of viscous resistance, respectively for : axial, radial, and circumferential direction. the problem is that I don't have the value for the circumferential, and i have more values in more than one angle. hope I've been clear.

thanks in advance

Chiara
