Will a change in ER in PrePDF affect the diesel combustion(DPM Model Fluent) outcome?

I'm doing a Project in the topic of Liquid fuel combustion. I'm using ANSYS Fluent 14.5. I'm using DPM model in Fluent . While creating Pre PDF in Fluent , it asks for Equivalence ratio. i have assumed ER=1 and successfully got the result.

my doubt is whether the equivalence ratio in pdf will influence the outcome of diesel combustion or not ? Because we are specifying mass flow of fuel in injections and air as velocity .So, i think there wont be any change in outcome.I have taken fuel inlet as wall since it is a group injection, air inlet is taken as velocity inlet and outlet as pressure outlet. Please reply
