Good day everybody,
Every time my transient simulation passes the 1000 seconds it stops. There is no divergence, it just finishes the last iteration and sends the message: " Flow time = 1012.8s, time step = 29 971 more time steps > adapt/ file/ report/ define/ mesh/ solve/ display/ parallel/ surface/ exit plot/ views/ > /file/write-case-data > exit" It knows there are still 971 time steps to go, why does it stop iterating? I already checked my Max-time-on-flow and it is on "unlimited". I work on the cluster. Your help is much appreciated! Kind regards |

post the full input and submission files you submit to the cluster.

Thank you very much for you answer!
I already solved the problem with help from a friend. The answer is, by putting an adaptive-time-stepping method and use a UDF for time-steps, the setting for you ending-time is set to 1000 seconds by default. You have to change this as well, so not only the max-time-on-flow. Kind regards |
