eaglemckenna is on a distinguished road
Hi
I am developing a Reduced Order Model (ROM) to approximate new flow fields at new boundary condition values. I am using ANSYS workbench to generate the CFD solutions and exporting the data structure from FLUENT in the ASCII space separated format to be read by excel and imported into MATLAB where the algorithm computes new flow fields.

The approximated flow fields are across the entire domain and the corresponding nodal order remains the same, the mesh remains unchanged.
  • I would like to be able to import the approximated thermal or velocity field into results tab of ANSYS workbench as a means to plot thermal and velocity profiles.
  • The data structure is currently arranged as follows:
[Node Number] [X Coordinate] [Y Coordinate] [New Temperature]
Any guidance would be much appreciated!
Best wishes
