Dear all,
I am doing a transient simulation of backward facing step, 2D. The size of smallest mesh is about 0.1mm, and max velocity in the whole flow zone is about 400m/s. I am currently using SA model with a time step size of 2.5e-07 for 1000 steps. (length of my zone is just 78mm) I monitored velocity magnitude at a point within the recirculation region (close to the step, velocity here is around 60m/s). I would expect to have the monitored velocity to oscillate with the changing of time step. However, this is not observed. Does anyone know the reason for that? Thank you very much! |
