Hi,

I am simulating a turbine

Please see streamlines around blade in following figures.

Mesh is structure and mesh (between the domains) is conformal and i also used this simulation but problem doesn't solved. How to solve this problem?

I am grateful that guide me.

Best.

Aja

this is likely due to rotating and stationary domain.

There is between rotating and stationary domain. Is there any problem in that?

what sort of gradient? It would be much helpful if you can support text with pics....

I am simulating a axial-flow air turbine, namely, Wells turbine. solution is steady state.
This turbine have 8 blades((360/8)=45 deg=angle between blades). Due to the circumferential symmetry, only one eight of the annulus has been computed, imposing periodic boundary conditions in the tangential direction. In my model, the computational domain has been restricted in the axial direction to four chord lengths upstream and eight chord lengths downstream of the blade. Blades are symmetry(Naca00XX).

Computational domain is as follow:

According the following figures, My means about gradient is velocity gradien
I am grateful that guide me.

take it to CFD post. It is problem of displaying data in two different zones i.e. stationary and rotating.

Right now Fluent is showing data in rotating reference frame...

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.

My language English is not very good.

What is your exact meaning of "take it to CFD post."? Can you explain more about CFD post?

CFD Post is post processing software by ANSYS. It has more options than Fluent for post processing ...
