Hello I have question. Im doing a simulation with rotating domain (black frame) (with fan inside).
I defined 57 rad/s on rotating domain with rotating walls of fan and rotating wall interface. On the stationary domain I only define rotation (0 rad/s value) on the interface.
Why on the borders of domains (white frame ) I dont have smoothh transition of velocity plot???

Is that a problem in postporcessing ????
Is I need to pick Velocity in STn Frame to plot real distribution of velocity values in MRF ort Sliding MEsh models ????

Yes, I believe you should present the results as velocity in stn. frame in CFD Post.

Is it a 3D model? The velocity field in the stationary domain seems a bit patchy and strange. Is it fully converged?

Yes this is 3d .
Yea Ur right this model isnt full converged . Full simulation with sensivity analysis i do now.
But in both situation mrf and sliding mesh velocity will be non continous. Only velocity stn frame will be representative ???

And I have additional question for the calculation of forces on the fan I need to make sliding mesh method with transient or only need is to make mrf with steady state ???

I would always use Velocity in Stn frame in CFD post..

For force analysis, I am in the same boat as you. So far I get much better results with transient analysis compared to steady state.
