Modelling phase change materials in a container

I am modelling phase change materials in a container, the container consists of three regions, cold, pcm and hot. The heat from the hot side will melt the pcm and release the stored heat from the pcm to the cold region. Therefore simulating the heat flux from hot to cold with the use of the pcm as a storage unit.
I have used "fill cavity" to model the regions The problem: I am not quite sure how to exactly model the problem I am not sure how to correctly setup the regions so fluent understand which regions contain which fluids, and how to setup the monitors for heat flux. I have attempted the problem before asking, however I dont feel I am setting this up correctly at all. The container is shown, any help would be appreciated for modelling and setting up. |
