outlet temperature

hello , if the water flows in horizontal pipe and inlet velocity and inlet temperature is given in fluent , then how and where to see the outlet temperature of water.

if i am see the contours of temperature and static temperature and compute it;
whether the temperature display in max. temperature is my outlet temperature ?

suggestion needed.

currently in laminar flow of water inlet temperature i gave is 303 k and static and total temperature is also 303 k. is this because there is no heat flux on pipe wall?

and if i give the heat flux , and do compute in contours ; will it give to me outlet temperature but i dont know how to see?????????????????

Pressing compute will calculate the minimum and maximum temperature in the region selected. By default it will calculate the max-min over the global domain until your deselect the check box so that it computes only over the domain you have selected. Do so, and you can get the min-max tempeature at your outlet (of course you have to select the surface).

Otherwise, you can also use a report to calculate area or mass weighted averages of the static temperature.

And obviously you need a heat flux or the temperature will stay constant.
