Hello! I have problem with combustion in fluent. I have piece of coal in hot air flow and coal must burn. I try to use 12-multiple-char-reaction tutorial. But I dont know how to make burning without using DPM model, because DPM only for particles but i have big piece (d=2mm, on the photo). I made coal-mv-volatiles-air for flow and c<s> for piece and wrote reactionslikein tutorial, but nothing happens. Please help

Hi
since you are focusing on reaction over a relative large piece, i would look over the tutorial dealing with "Modeling Surface Chemistry". the subject is surface reaction on a silicon wafer, but it might be more relevant to you than DPM.

Good luck
