I am analzsing a very simple phenomenon which involves flow over a flat plat with heat flux given at the bottom surface also subjected to a velocity of 3m/s at the top surface. The analysis is 2D involving a cross-section of the system.(figure shown) Now to allow fluid solid interaction i created mesh interfaces. When i obtain the result i find out that the heat is transferred to air by convection but conduction does not take place in the flat plate. I dont know the reason? (attaching the post photo s4 ).
