Default valves being extracted during decomposition?

Hi all,
I've been working at getting an ICE model working using ANSYS' in-house IC program with Fluent. I can't make it past this error, however:

Invalid Port, Valves appear to be extracted from port.

And, as seen in the attached image, it looks like the cylinder has been displaced much further than the maximum stroke length. I specified the crank and connecting rod length as 107.3mm and 37.5mm, respectively. I also have attached my valve motion profile.
I've tried using two different geometries; One with valve bodies already present, and one with no valve bodies and using the pre-processing to create valves. Either way, it still says that the valves are extracted. In the design tree to the left, there are also two "Subtract_Valve" commands at the end of the processes. Is this normal? Ive been following the ANSYS guide to set-up the ICE, with no success. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi all,
I have successfully resolved the valve extraction issue. I had to convert all of my valve travel lengths from the .txt file into meters, for some reason the program didn't want to use mm.
I am now encountering a major crashing issue during decomposition. I am getting the attached error at the end of the decomposition process. I'm trying to get a program that can read the dump file. Does anyone know what might be causing this crash?
Thanks

Hi All,
I've made some progress on the errors. Apparently the error can be fixed by importing a flow volume which already has the valve bodies in it, instead of using the pre-processing to create valves for you. However, I have run into another issue; The program states:

Valves X and Y are not aligned with seat face. Please align them manually.

Now, I follow the instructions found here:
https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Ans...o_prep_realign

and create the planes and move the valves before even decomposing the geometry. However, when I try to decompose the geometry after that, I get an error that there are additional bodies other than the flow volume and valves detected (I presume this is just the line bodies used to create the planes). It won't let me proceed unless I supress there entities, and then when I go to decompose the geometry, the system crashes again.

If I opt not the create these planes and just let the decomposition run, it will still give me the message that the valves aren't aligned with the valve seats; however the option to create new lines and planes is now inaccessible since I have decomposed the geometry.
Any advice on how to proceed? Should I be trying to align the valves before or after I decompose the geometry? And how am I supposed to do it before if extra bodies can't be present?
Thanks, Erik
