rms value of lift in fluent?

Hello everyone

is there a way for us to calculate the rms(root mean square) value of coefficient of lift in fluent?

Thanks in advance for the reply

You could write the lift coefficient to a file and then calculate statistics in another software (Excel/MATLAB).

Thanks foe the reply/
if possible Could you tell me how to do that in steps?

Step by step guide:
  1. Write the lift coefficients at each time step to a file (enabled in the same dialog box as printing the plot to your screen)
  2. Open this data file in Microsoft Excel (File > Open)
  3. Calculate the RMS of the lift coefficients (follow a tutorial online if you're stuck)
