How to plot any parameter against time for Transient simulation in Fluent?

Hello,

I am simulating a problem of Turbulent jet flow in a mixing shell (cylindrical in shape). I need to monitor velocity on the jet axis.
It is transient simulation and I run the case for flow time of 2 mins. I have already completed the simulation. I have saved .DAT file at regular time interval.

Problem:- I need to plot velocity with respect to flow time on the jet axis. I do not find any such options available in Fluent.
Someone please help in plotting this.

What I do is to export the simulation into an Ensight file using the Calculation activities (I guess, I don't have Fluent right here) and using Paraview you extract all the information. You can do the same using CFD-Post of the ANSYS Workbench.

Thank you so much jpina for your reply.
Do we need to import all DAT files for this in ENSIGHT? How does it work with Paraview?
I am using FLUENT 6.3.2. Is it possible to do something in this version of Fluent?

You can't plot anything vs time no matter what version of Fluent. Fluent is not a post-processor.

You need to export it into....something (CFD-post, excel, matlab, ensight, tecplot, something)

Either export all the data files into a post-processor
or
If you know exactly what data you want and where you need it, then create a point/line/surface and export them using calculation activities (automatic data export). Then read these data files into your post-processor.

First find or pick your favorite post-processor. Then you can ask specific questions. But learn how to import data for at least 1 time-step first.
