Hello everybody,
I'm simulating a pipe flow with a v-cone flow meter co-axially placed in it. I 'm using RNG k-epsilon and STD k-omega model in Ansys 15.0 fluent. If the flow velocity is below 1 m/s the solution converges easily within 2000 iterations but if the flow velocity is set to 2 m/s, 3 m/s or 4 m/s the solution does not converge even upto 50,000 iterations. The residuals are set to 1e-06.The under-relaxation factors are set to default setting for 1 m/s fluid velocity, there after I reduced it for higher velocities, results did not show any improvement. Need help to get a converged solution. |

How is the mesh? Post some pictures of mesh, information about mesh quality and picture of the convergence graph.
