Dear all,

I would like to have a point value of temperature in fluent at some special location.
Right now, I use a monitor -> Surface Monitor and the point as the surface. Obviously, this is not very good, because a point isn't a surface, so I am not quite sure which of the "report type" I have to choose.
Anyway, with any of them, I don't get the same value as I get when I use a probe in CFD-Post to determine the value. The difference is about 388K in CFD-Post to 367K in Fluent. So it doesn't look like it is just a matter of interpolation.
How can I get the same values? What is the problem? Is there any reasonable way in Fluent to get a point value? Is the CFD-Post value reliable?

Cheers,
Philipp.
