Hi~
I am running a case with DPM(discrete phase model). I tried to make animation that showed particle track and velocity contour at the same window. I had tried "overlay" function in Display→Scene→Scene Compositon→overlay(checked). My method runned as follows: 1. Create a solution animation in window ...for example, number 2. 2. Go to "Display→Scene" and check "overlay". 3. Create another solution animation. Be SURE using the same window. 4. Initialize and run "Calculate". However, it didn't work. Can anyone tell me how to make an Animation with overlayed scene? Maybe in CFD-post? Thank you! |

No, I didn't solve this.
What I can do now is to save .dat files, read them into FLUENT, and then overlay the scenes manually. It's a time-consuming work. Would you please share the method if you got any help from the customer support? Thank you! |

Hi!i've asked.
Two ways, 1° to save with execute command every picture and then put them inside a sw like movie maker... 2° the other way is to save a .dat every n° timestep and then to rebuild the scene with cfd post...with the command Key Frame Animation |

It seems OK.
However, DPM particle track could not be shown in Tecplot? I couldn't find in FLUENT how to export the particle track to Tecplot. @@ |
