hello my friends..
i am trying to simulate a 2D fluidized bed with TFM model..
in boundry condition pannel i select specularity coefficient for momentum secondary phase (solid) on the bed wall and i examined datas from 0 to 1 but in all time steps x_velocity, y_velocity and magnitude velocity of secondary phase (solid) on the wall is zero..
i dont underestand what's the problem..
any body can help me?
thank you very much..

I have the same problem.

I am simulating a fluidized bed reactor of circular shape and I am using a laminar model. When I insert the specularity coefficient, whatever value I choose, velocity at the wall remains equal to zero and even for zero specularity coefficient the shear at the wall is different from zero.

Can you help me?

Hi All,

I am encountering the same problem. I expect partial slip but could not get non-zero velocities in a fluidized bed with laminar conditions. Also, despite the fact that the instant velocities are zero when I used Fluent's data sampling tool to find the mean average, the mean values were non-zero. I would appreciate if someone can help me on this one.

Regards-
