Thesis help: Wave-drag reduction using passive flow method
 

I am beginning to work toward my thesis, on a subject related to shock-wave/boundary layer interaction and wave-drag reduction using passive flow method.

Objective: To try and see the effect of introducing a passive flow (through a channel connecting the high-pressure to the low-pressure region, downstream & upstream of the normal shock wave resp. in a transonic flow) on wave drag reduction. The airfoil chosen is the NACA0012.

Can anybody help me as to how to go about it?
