Hello all,
I have a question regarding shadow walls. I am confused on why they are created? I am also confused on why a flow cannot pass the shadow wall into another fluid region. Does anyone know why? Thank you |

Hi diamondx,
Thank you for the link. I have another question regarding shadow walls that I was wondering you may help me with. The shadow wall is created between two fluid zones, one porous and the other is not. The fluid flow from the nonporous zone is not able to penetrate when there is this shadow wall. Do you know why? |

just don't name the wall between fluid and porous zone when you create the mesh. name both as "fluid"
Or you could change the wall to "interior" and the wall will disappear. As obvious as it is, there will be no flow across a wall. |
