Liquid level VOF model

Hello everyone,

I am using the VOF to model a pool and a gas space, with a velocity-inlet boundary condition injecting water at the bottom of the tank. The rest of the boundaries are walls with no-slip.
I am using a 2D axisymmetric model (with x-axis set as axis of rotation).

Checking the Report>Fluxes>Mass flow rate>Net shows that I am injecting a correct amount of water through the velocity-inlet boundary condition.

However, the liquid level in the pool increases at a much slower rate than what it should, based on the injection rate .

What could be the reason for this?
I have double checked the density of the fluids, pool dimensions, mass flow rate injected into the pool, and they seem to be correct.

Thanks in advance! =)
Ignacio
