Hi,

I am analysing aerodynamic noise from a wind turbine and wanted to know the difference between using BROADBAND Noise Model and FW-H model in Fluent. Which one should be used when?

And also, I found that the postprocessing options available in ANSYS after FW-H simulation are very less (I could find only SPL vs frequency curves useful and couldn't find any DIRECTIVITY PLOT), looking into the computational expense of FW-H due to transient simulation (DES/LES)! So, why is FW-H used in many studies? And what more post-processing can be extracted from FW-H to get a better insight into the acoustics?

I would be really thankful for your answer to this question.
