Hi,

Would anybody be able to tell if it is possible to split the mesh in the same zone into different sections. I am trying to avoid the large skew at the outlet of the nozzle shown.

Or is there any specific method I should be using for this? Capture.PNG

Hi,

you should first see where skewness is more than 0.98. in ''mesh metric'' (you could see it in mesh detail you are using.)

Then look where skewness is max. and sizing or refinement are easy to manipulate those surface/face or etc in order to change skewness value.

if your model has been made finer mesh, those approach will be increased element/cell number you have modelled. That's why you shoud first begin mesh as ''coarse'' then always control how it treats and here is important, gradually specifying '' sizing or refinement'' in regarding those faces or etc. , if you are a little bit more than 0.98, then you should make your global mesh change (increasing relevance)
