VOF for channel flow

1 Attachment(s)
Hi everyone,

I'm modeling flow past a cylinder using VOF method in Fluent. I created a box and sliced it in two bodies in DesignModeler, one for air and one for water. And I used Fluent Meshing to mesh each body separately. I was wondering if the bodies should have similar meshing at the contact interface which is not the case in my model. If so, I appreciate if someone could help me on how to do that. Please see the picture attached.

Thanks in advance for your time

In design modelar, select the two bodies by holding ctrl then right click form new part to get shared topology next you can mesh.
I hope this will help
