Hello,
I am stuck with a simple problem. I am modeling airflows and heat transfer in an entrance hall with a window-wall. Thus convection and radiation is implemented. Velocity-inlet is set to 9 m/s. Simulation is made with an outside temperature of 5°C and 20°C inside. When I want to simulate a new configuration with a velocity-inlet of 4.5 m/s then the temperature in the fluid-domain rises to 23°C. I expected the temperature to drop, as less hot air is coming in. The only explanation I though viable is that the velocity in the domain drops, therefore there is less convection on the wall, meaning less cold coming from the outside. But I don't think this represents well the reality. Any help is much aprecieted. Cheers. Alex. |
